transfers to paris airports

im going to be travelling from manchester to Lourdes in France in August and the only flights i can find stop in paris orly and require transfer to Charles de gaulle.

i need to know how long it takes to get between these two airports

or

if there is any flights out there to Lourdes which do not requirean airport change which cost around 250GBP

if you are flying throughout with air france, you can get an "AF" bus ticket from the transfer desk at CDG2. Aeroports de Paris advise a trip duration CDG-ORY of 55min, but expect it to take at least 1h30mn by road (traffic, etc); by train, RER B from CDG2 to Antony then by Orlyval can be achieved in around 1h15mn, if it doesn't take too long buying a ticket.

Alternatively, fly from Stansted to Pau with Ryanair - Pau is around 50km from Lourdes.

Enjoy Lourdes its a great place. One of my trips there I flew to Toulouse and got train to Lourdes which takes you direct to Lourdes, and depending on where your staying could walk from station, The airport is some way out of Lourdes.

A friend of mine went on an excursion flight direct from Manchester to Lourdes last year, with a group called Mancunian Travel, but for the life of me I can't find them on Google and I was told that it cost around �500 as it was a one-off charter flight.

The Mancunian Pilgrimages delboy mentions are well known for trips to Lourdes and include hotels, there is a list of dates and cost on website. Type into google pilgrimages from Manchester to Lourdes five down the heading is WELCOME this is the site hope this helps its a lovely place and lots to see there are some lovely waxwork museums, and relics of Bernadette at various sites, August will be very busy and like any other place where crowds gather watch out for Pickpockets.
