Only been as far as Cyprus with them, so can't comment on long-haul, but our flights were OK, I suppose. At least they were on time. I wouldn't be in a hurry to use them again, though admittedly I've had worse service from other operators. Food was - well, airline food. Seats were a bit cramped and. like a lot of tour operators turned airline operators, they WILL constantly try to sell you stuff. Also, even if you've only booked a flight with them and are travelling and staying independently, you get this damned questionnaire wanting to know everything about you from your grandmother's maiden name to your shoe size and soliciting your opinions about their reps (whom you haven't met), their hotels (which you haven't set foot in) and thier excursions (which you neither know nor care about). The five hours to Cyprus seemed a lot longer - best of luck crossing the Pond!
When are you going Chirpy? We're flying to Florida with them in August.

I go in September - I'll be interested to hear how you get on!
At least they have those individual seat back tv screens. I don't see how they can be any worse than BA who I flew to New York with in March! I'll let you know how I get on.

I didn't think they did have the seat screens?? Anyway, as it turns out....I found out today that although we have booked through Thomas Cook are flights are with My Travel which is a bit weird! I have NO idea about My Travel at all - you've probably got the better deal!
no thomas cook do not have seat screens.
well the plane i went on didnt-757-300.
they have a bigger airline a330-200 which might have seat screens.
we had a 2hr delay going to turkey and a 2hr delay coming home.
the seats were very cramped, only went round once with drinks in 4 and a half hours.
i would sooner fly dan air.
We travelled to Dominican Republic with my travel (9 hours) and we had the screens on the back of the seats, the food was ok and the duty free on board were cheap. The best is Qantas, you get a choice of 3 for your main meal, choice of 2 for brekfast and free drinks, even wine and beer, thats just in economy. Good luck!
