left luggage area at airport dilemma

can anyone tell me if it is possible to leave luggage birmingham and manchester airports. i will be returning from the usa at xmas with a max of 40 kilos then will then need to streamline my suitcase for the canaries at max 20 kilos. we dont get back til early hours in the uk to then fly to the usa the next day. cant leave stuff at friends house as far too late to bother them to pick it up. any other ideas welcome. did think of leaving it in boot of hire car but then need to pay for parking and car hire for 2 more weeks. too pricey!

There are left luggage facilities but it will cost you about �4 to �5 per case per 24hrs.

At Manchester, there are left luggage facilities in Terminals 1 & 2 (but not in terminal 3). For T1, phone [phone]. For T2, phone [phone]. Times are 0800-2000 (except Sunday 0800-1600). Charges are �5 per item per 24 hour period.
