Does anybody know of a British airline that still flies to the north airport. Got one from Birminham about 5 years ago but it doesn't appear to run anymore. Live in Cambridgeshire.

thomsonfly list tenerife north as a destination on their website (from manchester and gatwick), however there are no flights in their winter schedule this year.
Most domestic flights - from the other Canary Islands and mainland Spain - fly to Tenerife North.

All chartered flights go to Tenerife South. If you want to go on a scheduled flight to North you will have to go via Madrid or Barcelona.
KLM operate lots of flights to los rodeos airport (ten. north) from lots of uk airports.

klm's flights to los rodeos are codeshare by air europa with a plane change at madrid.

ethel is spot on.
as are others.
no direct flights to the north.
flights are to madrid then the north.
easier to fly to the south.
then hire a car or a taxi would be about �70 or bus to north for about �10
who would want to fly to a airport that had the worst air crash of all time.
That was in 1974 if I remember correctly. I think technology has changed since then. I have flown into the north airport twice and it's a great airport. I would recommend it to anyone travelling the north of the island
