Germanwings seem to be the only carrier though the site is occasionally not 100% complete
Other airports (ie not Stansted) may give more choice

Germanwings appears to offer direct flights between STN & MLA but, when you actually search for them, you'll find that the flights are via Cologne. Further, there aren't many days when you can actually get suitable flight connections. When you can, the flight time is around 6 hours and the fares are far from cheap.
According to the Stansted Airport website, the only direct flights are with Air Malta:

For some sample dates I've just tried (Out Wed 15/10, return 22/10), the fares quoted are just 13 each way. Adding on taxes and charges brings the total return fare to 91.83.

If you can't find anything suitable from Stansted, you're best option might be to to consider Ryanair's flights from Luton. For the same sample dates, their prices are 14.99 each way. Taxes and charges bring the total return fare to 73.08
