Shuttle bus from Birmingham to Drayton Manor Park
2 Answers
Can anyone tell me the route number, and time of the direct shutlle bus from Birmingham City Centre to Drayton Manor Park and Zoo? I know Arriva run a service number 110 to there, but this is not direct, and takes well over an hour to get there. I should know this, as I have won 4 tickets in a competition, but have forgotten the route number, and departure point of Arriva's direct shuttle service.

There's no mention of it on the Drayton Manor Park website:

The Traveline website gives the suggested routes as either a train from New Street to Tamworth, to pick up Arriva service 110 from there, or a train to Wilnecote, to connect with Elkin Travel service 766:

However, both of those routes seem leave you with quite a long walk.

There's no mention of a designated service to Drayton Manor Park.
You could try phoning Traveline (0871 200 22 33) but I suspect that they'll just refer to the same database that's available online. Arriva normally direct travel enquiries to Traveline but their customer comments line (0844 800 44 11) might have further information.
Alternatively, try the Drayton Manor Park information line on 0844 472 1950 or email them:

At last!
I've found a direct route. Travel West Midlands operate daily inclusive tours, using Service E22, from stop DJ on Carrs Lane. You can choose to depart at either 0900 or 1010. The return trip is at 1700.
As stated, that's primarily intended as an inclusive trip but the website also offers the option of purchasing 'travel only' return tickets. These are 9 for adults, 6 for children or senior citizens.
You can purchase tickets online, here:
