Has anyone found or seen any flights to Australia (Adelaide in particular) next summer for less than 1000 return per person? I went to see my son this summer and paid 875 for Manchester to Adelaide. I am now being quoted 1400 on average. I appreciate that the cost of fuel has impacted on this but I would welcome comments/advice etc as to what's the best course of action.
I've just gone through to the point where they display the total price payable and it is 1382.20. Considering the fact that fuel prices have come down, I think this is unreasonable. Any comments anyone?
I can't believe it's got much to do with fuel surcharges. If June costs 841 and July 1300+, I gues it's just because more people want to travel then, school holidays here and all that.
Just looked for the latest date on the site, out end September, back 14th October and it's 1100, seems to bear it out
How about Austravel? www.austravel.com Be sure and get on their email list and get sent offers as they appear. They have deals with most of the airlines, in my experience Singapore Airlines and Emirates have been much more enjoyable than my flights with BA or Quantas.
Right now they are showing flights to Adelaide with Cathay Pacific for 784, valid for travel up to 11th June 2006, book by 31 October.
