Does anyone know how long, approx it would take a cargo ship to sail from UK to Pakistan? Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Looking at the schedules of container vessels from Felixstowe (the UK's largest container port) to Karachi-Muhammad Bin Qasim (Pakistan's principal container port) shows that the fastest vessels take 19 days for the journey. e.g. the Gjertrud Maersk departs on Sunday 22 February and arrives on Friday 13 March.
However some vessels call in at several ports en route and take much longer. For example the Mol Cosmos leaves Felixstowe later today (Wednesday 18 February) and doesn't reach Karachi-Muhammad Bin Qasim until Monday 30 March (i.e. a journey of 40 days).

How do I know all of these things? Well, I'm the guy you don't want to meet at a party. I could bore for England on a vast range of topics. It's just nice to come on here and find that someone actually wants to know some of my obscure bits of information ;-)
