i have a double question here: how much is a single subway journey?  and a metrocard is unlimited bus AND subway isnt it?

I seem to recall a single journey as being about $2, but I couldn't be sure. If you're going on a trip for a few days it really is worth getting a metrocard, which I think are around $21. When I was last there, I did the maths and quickly realised the saviings you would make a fantastic - as you will use the subway to go everywhere!
