I am off to London in a couple of weeks and I am trying to see how far my Euro will go when I convert to sterling, how much is the average,pint/glass of wine/meal for two?thanks.

Hi, I moved to Germany from the UK back in October.  A rough way of working out Euros to Pounds is subtract 1/3 away from the Euro.  e.g. �9 = �6

A pint usually costs between �3 to �4.50 depending on exactly where you drink and what you drink.  Some theme pubs are particularly cheap.

Meals, well, anything between �8 - �23 ish per person.  Of course, it depends on what you eat and where you eat.

Am in Dublin so Iam used to things being expensive based on the price of 4.50 it will probably be around the same, thanks for that.
