holiday 2012.??

anyone got any ideas for a holiday next year.? as long as its in europe by eurostar. im looking for some recommendations and insiration.! thanks.

have you been to the Alsace area of France - absolutely beautiful and little known. Wonderful little untouched villages and a wine route which runs for about 70 miles through the countryside. You can get into France by Eurostar and go further by train.

what age group are u ? how many people and does one have "fear of flying " ? there are so many combinations for different age groups.
We went to Lille for a long weekend it was very quiet and very nice but not much for the younger generation.

we,re 50 (me) and 44, but very young out going people. have just been looking at a rail/rhine tour holiday in remagen.
