Does anyone know of a small, dog-friendly campsite reasonably close to Audley End, Saffron Waldon, Essex. We would be taking our touring caravan, + it would be great to find a Caravan Club Certified Location.
Many thanks

How about Mole Hall Wildlife Park, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB11 3SS, 01799 540400

All the others (like Shelford and Cherry Hinton) are half an hour away.

Or try www.clicreports.co.uk
Try http://www.ukcampsite...great-chesterford.php Gt Chesterford is about 3 miles from Audley End and Caravan Club members only, I've never been since I live in Walden but have been seeing the sign for years.
This is for Caravan Club members only, just 5 miles from Audley End:
http://www.chesterford.org.uk/caravan-site.htm
That website doesn't mention dogs, but it's shown as dog-friendly on ukcampsite.co.uk:
http://www.ukcampsite...eviews.asp?revid=5397
(2 good reviews, with one which is less so - but possibly from someone who was expecting too much from such a small site anyway?).

Not a Caravan Club site, but 13 miles from Audley End, dog-friendly and well reviewed:
http://www.appleacrepark.co.uk/welcome.htm
and
http://www.ukcampsite...eviews.asp?revid=4593

There's also Lovecote Lodge, which is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, 9 miles from Audley End and dog-friendly, but there's very little on the web about it:
