This will cause ill feeling!

Young drivers, should they undergo a primarily test that lasts for 6 months? If they have a bump or get caught for speeding within that 6 months their license gets revoked, if a full 1 year has been completed they get their entitlement to drive on condition if they get done for speeding etc, their licence then gets revoked. too many think " I've passed my test & I can drive"

Yep, thats sure to to cause ill feeling without a doubt. This area has seen more than its fair share of young drivers and their passangers killed. If it makes new drivers think, hopefully the death rate and waste of young lives
will fall to a much lower figure. It is so sad to hear of a young death , my daughter knows a few who have lost theirs lives far to early.

I am not knocking the young by any means, I have been there, the difference! I have never had a bump, it's a different ball game if she/he get smacked up they @rse, Yes the right term should have been Probation, regards the Green plate, that only tells other drivers that you have just passed your test, I do not think it's excessive at all, there are too many stories of youngsters & passengers getting killed & yes, I would also think that seniors passed the age of 75 should have a test for their own & other peoples Safety, regards pass your test, you can drive! far from it.
"After the age of 75, the risk of driver fatality increases sharply, because older drivers are more vulnerable to both crash-related injury and death. Three behavioral factors in particular may contribute to these statistics: poor judgement in making right-hand turns, negotiating roundabouts, drifting within the traffic lane; and decreased ability to change behavior in response to an unexpected or rapidly changing situation."
