Take it in your hand luggage that is no problem.

 

You should be able to use it on the plane, but not during take off or landing.  They usually announce that as part of the pre-flight message.

Enjoy Majorca, it is a beautiful island.  I have stayed in Alcudia 4 times in the last 8 years.  I have just got back from Lanzarote a couple of days ago and the weather was great, hopefully it will be good in Majorca too.  I have been to Majorca at this time of year and had horrible thunder storms (maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that).
