Criminal record visa advice
Before people say not another thread about American visa advice I'm looking anyone who has been through the visa process to advise me. If you look back at a previous thread I made 1 year ago I traveled to the U.S with the visa waiver, I was stopped and asked if I had a criminal record and they decided I was suitable to enter the country.
I go back next summer and this time I'm going through the correct channels like I was advised, the problem is it all seems so difficult to deal with so I was just wondering whether anyone had been through the process and could advise me.
Any help would be brilliant as the U.S Embassy website is so difficult to navigate around.

My OH had to go for an interview 3 years ago for this, he had a minor theft conviction from when he was 18. He maintained he would never do it again, took all day (and about £20 in phone calls to make the appointment). He got a 10 year visa, this was back in 2007. We visited Boston this year and the Homeland Security Officer asked why my husband had the visa, we told her and she said they had no details on the system!.
