skilled worker visa to canada. advice please

i am a qualified welder and also a scaffolder with all relevant certs etc. i want to leave uk and apply for wrk in canada, i have tried for australia but dont meet the points criteria. i am 43 years old. have offshore survival certs to work offshore on oil platforms etc. anyone know or can give me any advice about this ? i have spoken to a visa consultancey firm who want me to pay $2600 au dollars.

any advice much appreciated. thanks

why do an agency to go to canada want to charge you in australian money?

we are keeping our options open pasta freak, we want to get away, ive just paid £3000 for an offshore survival course to work on oil platforms, have recently been let down on a job so im throwing my head up with the uk, another route is going to norway where i worked before.

and its not aussie dollars...its u.s / canadian dollars !!

hey moses, try £1300 for the course , medical £130. flights £ 340. hotels £380. spending money £500 over 7 days, course started on wed to wed so had to stay over the weekend...
