West croydon station is 10 mins walk from where were going?
TfL's suggested route is:

Train from Romford to Stratford
Jubilee line to Canada Water
Canada Water train to West Croydon
Get the train to Liverpool St. station, then Circle Line to Victoria. There are regular trains to Croydon from Victoria.

Not sure about how to get there by car.
Oh and there are cab offices right by East and West Croydon stations.

Going by train will make it much easier for us. Will decide whether to go to Stratford station, or Liverpool st. No problem at all now x thanks again
