Can I get a site for hotel reviews ?

I want a site or sites that do reviews (good and bad) on hotels etc, I have heard there are several.

While I use tripadvisor a lot there are times when some of the reviews are "dubious".

You get a person who has just registered, and they give a glowing review of a hotel the same day, and then never do anothr review.

Check reviews over a period of time, and take more notice of reviews by people who are regular users of TA rather than use it just the once.

they do say you should discount the 10% most favourable and 10% least favourable reviews on Tripadvisor (the idea being that the best ones are posted by the manager and the worst ones by rival hotels).

depends what segment of the market you are in - keep an eye out for mag/independent reviews.....

I have been told www.booking.com is a good site as you can only post on there if you have booked the hotel through them, so they should all be genuine.

I used booking .com, booked a hotel, sounded fairly good!.........It was just awful!.......hated it!..........put up my review, hope folk read it and never go there!..................
