Hi,

I have just booked a holiday of a lifetime with 6 girls! We are spending 5 nights in Vegas ans 5 nights in New York in late September, early October. Whilst we are there (and the reason for going!) is 2 of the girls will be celebrating their 30th birthdays (1 in Vegas, 1 in NYC). Does anyone have any suggestions of something amazing that we could plan for them? I'm thinking something nice during the day, a good meal then maybe a club (not too heavy though, they will be in their 30s by then ;) !) Anybody know of any cool things to do and good restaurants/bars?! I'm open to all suggestions!!

Wow, you're spolit for choice!! You can eat and drink anywhere in the world,n maybe chose one of the more fabulous experiences like a visit to the Grand Canyon from in Vegas and a trip out to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island whilst in New York.
I went to Vegas for the first time in August. It was AMAZING!! Definately going back. Anyway, We stayed in the Stratosphere hotel and my partner did jump off the top of the tower and loved it. If one of them is adventurous you could book that. It's 855ft high and the rides on the top are great. There is also a restaurant and bar up there which are great. Get a seat next to the window before it gets dark and watch night time come and the lights of the city come alive.
Have a brilliant time
Make sure you get each girl to pay up NOW before they change their mind.

While all 6 girls may be keen to go now, all sorts of things can come up that may mean they cant or wont go.

They may be short of money, they may meet "the man of their life" and dont want to leave him and so on.

I dont wish to sound like a spoil sport, but I have heard of situations like this in the past where everyone say they are keen to go, and then one or more may drop out, and then the person who booked it still has to pay, and it turns nasty.

So make sure they cough up the money NOW.

Brilliant!! Have a fantastic time!!
Bellagio fountains are fantastic and free! There are great bars in most of the hotels. My advice is make sure you have flat shoes as its a big place!! New York New York is a great hotel with good bars. You can also try and put your names down for the famous clubs like Studio 54 in MGM Grand. There's also an ice bar in mandalay bay hotel. It's $15 to get in that gets you a fur coat and gloves etc

Take plenty of money!!!
Sorry forgot your question. Me an my fiancé went for two weeks and I could have stayed longer we didnt do or see everything we wanted to. Trying to go back this Aug.
If you're in New York on a Sunday then I highly recommend the Sunday brunch at the revolving restaurant at the Marriott hotel in Times Square. It is AMAZING! If you're not there on a Sunday then maybe you could go for cocktails in the evening.

Thanks so much!! Wow, ice bar sounds great!! And we are in NYC on a Sunday so will try out the Marriott! We are staying at Bellagio so will see the fountains :) Thanks, your suggestions are fab!! xx
You could hire a Limo in Vegas, they are everywhere for hire, you could ask at your Hotel Reception, or you can book before you go. A show in Vegas is always fantastic and most of the Hotels have a Cirque de Soleil show on, and they are all amazing. The Bellagio, where I have stayed before has a very swanky nightclub, most of the Hotels again have their own, but if you want to get really dressed up the one in the Bellagio would be a real treat. Hope that helps!!
