Can a European arrest warrant be issued for breach of probation/licence
I was convicted of a crime in the Uk (possession of offensive weapon) some years back and served my custodial sentence (6months). I was released on licence for another 6months but left the UK after about a month into the licence/probation for Ghana. I am from Ghana and live in Ghana but possess a UK citizenship. I had inteneded to 'hack' the probation period but the death of my mother encouraged my planned return. So while other "foreigners" with sentence of 12month and over were deported, I was asked to remain in the UK. Now i have no family in UK, was uncomfortable living off the State (since I am comfortable in Ghana) and the whole purpose of being on licence is defeated as i av no intention of reintegrating into the UK society. After leaving the uk, i learnt a warrant was issued for my re-arrest (recall) and I av avoided the uk since. What i wish to know is this: will an european arreast warrant (EAW) have also been issued as my business does require elements of travellin into europe. thank you

(If a particular country doesn't have a similar licensing system it's possible that there's no equivalent offence in that country. If so, an EAW would have no validity in that country):
