Does anyone really think that by cutting the amount of concerts down from 13 to 9 and reducing the number of people attending the events from 80,000 to 65,000 or even 50,000, it will reduce the nuisance of these concerts?
And of course, that is only from next year onwards.
Cutting the amount of concerts down will help obviously, but the numbers of people attending won't make the slightest difference, they'll still be noisy.
to be fair boxtops, this year there will be an 18-day-long series of concerts for the jubilee and olympics. can you imagine a neighbours pary with loads of people and loud disco every night for over 3 weeks, in the summer with your windows open and there's nothing to stop it?
