marriage in Gibraltar
3 Answers
My Fiancee and I are getting married in a catholic church in Gibraltar. We are currently going through all the paper work with our local priest. He's advised us to find out if we need to do anything to cover the legal and civil side of things. I believe we need something called a 'Certificate of none impedament' which apparently costs £9 (but not 100% sure about the cost)We both currently reside in the UK and have done all our lives. My Fiancee's parents are from Gibraltar. We are also both catholic and have all the normal documentation we need i.e birth certificate, confirmation, etc. Its just to have all bases covered for getting married abroad.
I am going to contact my local register office but just thought i'd ask on here first.
Am I right with what i've put above and is there anything else we need to ask anout when I contact them?
