Best way to London Heathrow Terminal 3

Train from Staffordshire to London Euston then got to be at Terminal 3 by approx 6pm on a Friday. Coming back leave Terminal 3 about 7.30 am to get back to Euston for a train back.
Does anyone know prices,ideas, Options please - underground/taxis/bus

It's probably cheapest to book straight through from Staffs to Heathrow. Then it's quite simple. From Euston, get the Victoria Line to Green Park and change to the Piccadilly Line. I'd try and aim to get to Heathrow a bit earlier than 6pm, though. You'll have the rush hour to deal with at that time. Not fun, especially with luggage. An hour earlier should be OK.

Forget taxis they will fleece you. Forget buses too slow. The underground will deliver you up to Terminal 3 so that is really the only option. I live here at Heathrow since mid 70s so take it from one who knows!

I agree with SJP, tube to Heathrow is by far the easiest.

An alternative route avoiding London is to get the hourly Manchester - Reading train (which stops at Stoke, Stafford and Wolves) and then the Railair bus from Reading - one easy change
