Brighton marathon 15 April ... Traffic ?

Oh dear, going down to Brighton on Sunday 15th for the day, will we be able to drive along the front near the Old Pier?? If so, what time will it all be clear - roughly - and will the seafront be traffic free for the whole of the race??

I understand that the seafront will be closed to traffic until 4pm.

Oh dear, how long can we leave the car at Tesco in Hove?? !! Is it two hours free?? Does anyone know where we can park till 4pm ?
