Bed to Myself, wonderful!

OH in Munich watching the match and I've the bed to myself, woohoo, well that's if the dog says off it, off for a cuppa then bed to watch the last two episodes of The Bridge. Only drawback, have to be up at 6.30 to pick him up at the airport.

I would say I always have the bed to myself though with two cats that is rarely the case.

A friend was recommending The Bridge to me earlier sounds good! I've been watching Alcatraz and loving that, just about to try Breakout Kings.

I'm going to make the most of a lie in tomorrow, not venturing into town until later on as likely to be mad busy with the Great Manchester Run and City Games and all kinds of diversions with the road closures.

Daisy, cost of taxi is prohibitive and train will take him into London, then he'll have to come back out again, that's not taking into account the regular line closures, anyways, he'd do it for me. Jenna, The Bridge is probably the best show on TV at the moment, I'll be gutted when I've watched the last two episode tonight.

No, but I would not accept that collecting him at 6.30 am. would be something that his partner should do. His treat, his responsibility.

Good luck Rocky. My OH went away for a week a few weeks back and I was looking forward to the bed to myself. By the time I'd got four cats on it, I realised that "bed to myself" is actually a utopia that I haven't had for about 20 years. Whether he is there or not I STILL only got 6 cramped inches at the edge.

I shall be putting the tent up in the garden anytime soon.

Lol BM, I 've just squeezed into 6 inches on the edge of the bed, Yogi got there before me! I hope he gets too hot in a bit and buggers off to annoy the kids.

Stansted airport is only about 20-25 minutes away from me, not such a hardship, he'll be knackered as he flew into Frankfurt this morning then a 4 hour cab ride to Munich, straight after the game back in the cab back to Frankfurt for flight home. Hope Chelsea win after all that aggravation, he must be bonkers.

I have actually woken up sometimes with my head on the bed-side table as I have been pushed out by himself, thing 1 and thing 2.
