There`s a limit with booze that says it has to be 70 % or less and most surgical spirit is 70%. Aside from the 100ml liquid policy wording is :- Non-radioactive medicinal or toilet articles (including aerosols) such as hair sprays, perfumes, colognes and medicines containing alcohol. The total net quantity of all above mentioned articles must not esceed 2kg or 2L. Surgical spirit is therefore covered as a medicine containing alcohol.
