OLYMPIC VILLAGE

dont know if people will think this daft but .......
do the athletes etc pay for their meals, hairdressers and other facilities in the Olympic village ? I say free but more practical members of our household say they probably get everything at reduced rates.

That's an interesting question, I heard somewhere that they pay a minimal fee to stay there but presumably that would just be for accomodation and food.

This is not a silly question at all. I would not think that anything would be free (why should it be) but instead would be at a greatly reduced rate.

the village has been built to give the teams an enhanced experience, i doubt they pay from their own pocket but i think each country pays for it's own team's accomodation, the village is being turned into a ghetto........sorry, new social housing village after the games
