Professionals and volunteers have been a tremendous help to everybody and special credit should be given to the bravery of the "Bomberos" Fire Fighters at ground level and those flying the helicopters and planes - the greater tragedy here is that it appears the fires were started deliberately

I also wish that, how anyone could start them delibrately is beyond me.

The tragedy deepens I am afraid - I have just watched the Spanish News and hear that a British man has died in the fires and his wife is missing.
