... do you carry around?

I was in Starbucks this morning behind one of those guys who has about twenty cards, and stands at the counter sorting through them?

Is it some blokey "I have loads of money all over the place" kind of thing?

I was there with my one debit card, feeling a bit inadequate.

1 debit card. I don't have any credit cards.
why be bothered, Jayne? - at least you are in control of your finances.
Same as CD.

Well not the same card you understand, I have my own :-)
1 debit card. Like China I don't have credit cards.

OH has 1 debit card and a few cash cards but he's also a sucker for loyalty schemes so has Nectar cards and stuff like that.
I have one debit card and one credit card which I have never used lol
\\\\\who has about twenty cards,\\\\

but not necessarily debit /credit cards.

I have loyalty cards with several hotel groups, vantage cards for various airlines........etc.///etc..
1 debit card. I have credit cards but only use one until the 0% interest ends.
1 debit card to current account and one cash card to building society account.
"Is it some blokey "I have loads of money all over the place" kind of thing? "
More likely, "I have loads of credit cards and am completely out of control of my money."

Well, at least we are all sensible.
I have quite a few but then only have two major personal accounts that I use regularly.
1 debit card and no credit cards.
I LOVE my credit card. I pay it in full every month so it costs me nothing but I get the extra legal protection should my purchase (of over £100) go wrong in any way and I get cash back for using it.

Money for nothing.

Oh, and it is the most cost effective way of spending abroad.
I have several of both, but only use a couple of the credit cards in a very controlled way. The other cards keep sending me glittering special offers in order to try to tempt me back.

I don't think it's blokey, I use different cards for different purposes - and a good use of credit gives you a decent credit rating.

I have one of those "pay as you go" cards that i sometimes use for buying things online.
Question Author
I mean "pre pay" I think.
One debit card and one credit with a very low limit.
I was impressed a few months back when one of my card companies rang me and reduced my limit, so reduce the financial risk to me. Good, it's one I don't use anyway :-)
lol..don't be fooled by appearances jj...I carry 1 debit and 1 credit,my Bank card my bus pass, my Tesco loyalty, my BandQ oap special card, my Union card' my library card,Over60s Taybarns card,Passport to Leisure card.Council Tax Payment card..three different Coffee Shop stamp cards, my Green Flag card and my Driving licence... oh and my all important Phone top up card,...17 cards there which I NEED to carry and I have a few more which I leave at home for when I need them....no actual money there except for the debit card which only has my meagre oa pension on it or rather the remnants of it....probably less than £30 quid....

Things ain't allus what they seem.

...and in contrast my wife carries a similar number of cards in her tote bag..PLUS half a ton of stuff which remains a mystery to us mere males..apart from the kitchen sink which must be in there somewhere..;-))
we've all got bags like that, commoner !
