but I will be in the Premier Inn at Stansted Thursday night for an early flight to Finland Friday- so at 9 pm do I watch Red Dwarf or The Plane Crash!!!!

I'd go for The Plane Crash but then I a) never fly, and b) can't stand Red Dwarf.

Dotty, wife's nephew lives and works in Finland and was telling me that Finnish is actually easy to learn, easpecially written as it's phonetic.
He found it so straightforward that he went on to teach English to Russians.
His latest project is introducing his girlfriend to the Scots sense of humour, work in progress. :)

Or ... go down to the hotel bar with a book.

I've only stayed at the Radisson at Stansted, but Premier Inns always have a bar, I think.
