If you live in a place where the trees are turning to beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange, please tell me as I would like to compile a list of possible places to visit this Autumn, within reach of the Midlands.
You may live near a stately home, NT property, parkland or just your local area, which you can recommend - I want to take plenty of photos. We have already been to Westonbirt Arboretum in previous years.
We are visting Batsford Arboretum near Gloucester at the end of this month, we hear that it is especially beautiful this year, we do hope the colours last until we get a chance to see them! Many thanks.
I see its about 25 miles West of Birdlip and Batsford is about 25 miles East of Birdlip. We are only staying 2 nights but will bear it in mind thanks :)
My garden I have 5 old oaks on one side and an orchard on another and the climber on my house has just gone from green to red. Whilst your here can you help sweep up the leaves? Thank you.
I'm surrounded by the Chilterns, officially an area of outstanding natural beauty. If you're a fan of rambling there are some lovely walks and you can see if you can spot SamCam in Chequeres.
The west of Scotland is a bit far for you, but you can visit my parents house. They have woodland at the end of their garden which is turning all kinds of gorgeous colours. It's a bit wet and windy at the mo though :(
