Can anyone recomend a good olde worlde pub in Padstow Cornwall that we can stay in on a b&b basis? Oak beams, log fires that sort of thing, or maybe somewhere else in Cornwall that fits that criteria. Thanks.

That bar in the Tinners arms is exactly what I am looking for DT.
It's a lovely location, moonie, 4 miles out of St Ives, on the cliff tops and its wild up there on West Penwith, real smugglers country.

DT, I'm sold then.
dt might have a fit at me moonie, but we've spent the last two christmases in a lovely studio apartment over the harbour in Polperro-
different time of year I know, but a great spot - and the pub's about eight feet from the front door.

The Pier Inn, great food, lovely people, ace mulled wine. They do a great breakfast menu, including a smoked haddock and bacon hash, with cream and a poached egg.

Why's it been taken down dt?
I have absolutely no idea, sloopy - sent Ed an e-mail, you have a hard copy on yours....

I have no issue with other recommendations, Polperro is lovely (but not quiet)
Are you going to be there this year, sloopy?
sadly no ((dt)), we need to get on with the barge

I'll email your real addy over the next couple of daysx
