Strange feeling

Since coming back off my hols last Wednesday I have been getting a strange feeling on my left shoulder,it's like there are ants crawling under the skin,it only lasts a minute or two but repeats 2/3 times a day.Anyone ever experienced this or know what causes it.

Name for that sensation is Formication, can have various causes - I presume there is nothing visible on the skin, no bites or blisters??

Slight chance could be precursor to shingles, or may well just pass.
