on an advert for a certain supermarket with 5 letters ( other supermarkets are available) it states that from July all their fresh chickens will be from the UK, where do they get them from now . Are they just fobbing us off with stale imports under the pretext of being fresh.
Have you seen fresh chickens getting off a ferry from France?.

Our butcher imports the majority of his chicken from Holland - it still counts as fresh if it comes in chilled.
Aldi guarantee all their fresh meat is British born and bred.There is a label on each pack, including chickens.
Question Author
if they do not know what is in their burgers, how will they know where their chickens come from.
My local butcher knows where his stock comes from.
