Has Anyone Sat/slid Past In Business Class Without A Ticket

I was wondering how easy this could be, I have been on Emirates Airbus which is massive and a few other airlines and if you got on the plane late and instead of going to your seat and seeing some free business class seats would you get caught if you sat in it.
I have never seen them check the tickets after you have sat down or during.
Has anyone tried this and got away with it if so with which airline or worse tried and failed.

I think that the flight attendants have a list of the business/first class passengers' names and their seat allocation. So they know before take off.

if the plane were to meet with a mishap, the fact that you'd be many rows adrift from your assigned seat would really mess with the accident investigators..........

I once got a british airways flight from Jeddah to London and there were only 31 of us on the flight a Tristar with 400 seats and the flight attendants said to sit wherever we liked. More rows of seats than passengers and free drinks all the way home, best flight I have been on and great service.

Wouldn't work with Emirates. They have a list of Business/First class passengers and they know where they are sitting.

Caused confusion when my wife and I swapped seats in business class, until they asked who we were. I didn't look like a 'Pat' and she didn't look like a 'John'.
