Stalis - Crete

Anyone know of any good sites for information about Stalis in Crete, not been able to find to much so far ???

Thanks "ipek" good stuff, but what i really need is things to do with a family, cant see me getting away with "Bar-Hopping" can you ?

I spent a season working in Stalis (or Stalida as the locals call it). It used to be pretty quiet (certainly compared with nearby Malia!) with just a few bars and family owner restaurants. The beaches were nice and its a good friendly spot for a family holiday, well located to explore the rest of the island. Usual range of watersports etc on offer. Best to chill out on the beach for a few days and then hire a car and go exploring!

If the kids are young go to the Royal Oak, its a great family pub with everything from bouncy castles to playstaions and the foods excellent aswell, when I was there last year we spent a couple of nights at the pub, straight across the road they also have another pub more for adults with good entertainment aswell which is part of the same pub, I am going back a week on Tuesday, can't wait.
