Easyjet Speedy Board
Has anyone paid for Easyjet Speedy Board only to find it doesn't exist as you understand it? Last week my wife and I were flying back from Budapest and at the gate there was a call for Speedy Board passengers to go through. We did so and boarded a bus. We sat there for several minutes and then the bus began to fill up with the rest of the passengers and eventually moved off to the aircraft where we all got off the bus and boarded the plane. When I asked the Easyjet Cabin Manager what happened to the Speedy Board the response was that 1. We were on the bus first and 2. We had pre-allocated seats. We felt we had been conned. has anyone else had this type of experience?

Speedy boarders if transferred by bus are told to stand by a particular door. Only that door opens. Theoretically allowing only the speedy boarders to get off first.
But it always amazes me why everyone seems to head for the front steps of the aircraft.
We always head for the back steps, found our chosen seat at the rear, hand luggage stowed, and sat down watching passengers at the front holding up others getting on.
Normally there are steps at the rear on arrival, so we are getting off at the same time as people who think sitting at the front will get off sooner.
