Train 2 skeggy!

i'm goin 2 skeggy next week but which would be better and faster coach or train? but i want to know if i have 2 change trains on the way? and would it be cheaper on coach?  thanks

Cambridge to Skegness: (if it's any help)

Tried it once by train and will NEVER do it again. It was about 3yrs ago so I can't tell you the cost but it took about 8hrs we had to change trains at Ely, Grantham and then a third time (but I can't remember where), The last train was so old and slow by the time we arrived I felt like crying.

By car it takes aprox 2hrs.

I have never done it by bus but I think you stop at Peterborough, and the journey is a bit round the houses
