Do any of you have photos of a holiday which you took that give a clue (not too obvious, but also not to vague) as to its location? Here is mine: where is it?

Try again, webbo. On the tinypic site, copy the bottommost "address" thingy and then paste it into your thread.
cheers stewey.

I'd say somewhere in Germany. Anyway, it's clear that my original idea isn't going to work since if a photo isn't too obvious, we're certainly not going to get it without numerous verbal clues. But thanks for trying, folks...Cheers.

I'd even go so far to say that my thread is the Costa Concordia of Travel questions; it has come to a sudden stop and floundered:)
Prudie, Barcelona?
Carcassonne, webbo?
Not exactly but right language
Flip, where have I seen that black horse?
Question Author
I'm sure that I recently read something about a rearing horse with a distinctively stylized mane; however, I can't think of the location, prudie.
Lloyds TSB, Tilly? Thing is you'd expect it to be outside a bank rather than a pool hall.
I'm not sure if it's a copy of one somewhere better known but this is iconic in its own situation (somewhere I think highly unlikely most Canadians have even heard of :-))
Vienna? Prudie?
Right country jno, too far south.

Question Author
I think the language on the business is Italian or Spanish.
Not Austrian then?
casa de billar is Spanish for pool hall (well, billiards), but Prudie's already said it's Spanish.

Dunno, webbo, France is full of castles. It looks too old for the Loire valley.
