would you please contact me or Queenofmean - some of you have my e-mail address and some of you have hers, or just " leave" a message here.
Then we can finally get this get together organised. We had planned on somewhere at Ocean Terminal as there is lots of parking, plenty of places for "indulging" and nice shops to browse if anyone feels like it. Give us dates or days that might suit and anyone outside the Edinburgh area who needs a lift to Ocean Terminal let me know.

I'm free most days apart from Tues, Wed and Sunday because I work those days. While the Festival is on, I am also in work on Saturdays. I'm away on hol from the 27th August until the 7th September. Other than that.....I'm freeeeeee! :) x

Is it only for McLadies? OH's mum lives in Hamilton - but we don't plan to go up to visit until maybe November.

Sorry to but in but Chaophraya Thai restaurant on Castle St is excellent. Ask for David the manager. It has fantastic views over the city from a glass extension to the restaurant. Fab food. Fab design.

Traipsed up and down Castle Street many times - used to work in Queen Street.
Voddie is the Gentlewoman's Shop still there? I avoid the city whenever possible these days, it was opposite Wetherspoons if I remember rightly

It was something like the Gentlewomens repository or some such title. They sold all sorts of hand made things for charity I often bought Queenie little knitted toys and jumpers when she was wee - picked up a lovely handmade quilt there too. Probably isn't there anymore it was a prime site, it was quite old fashioned

Great Minty I'm easy suited too my time being my own, by the way our Queenie will be in your area tonight - picking up my new grandkitty! We're adding another rescue cat to our brood (I went with her last week to meet him what a nice town!)

Blue Cross foster mum - we got lost trying to find her house last week, ended up in the main street then turned around and headed way out of town before turning back and going up the same road we came down in the first place before turning left and left again - nice little part of town house around a large grassed area with garages at the top

I'm a five minute walk from high street up the hill by the bank....

Right. We came off the A68 turning off on the road to Vogrie and down that hill ............. actually we went through Dewarton! So we must have passed close by
