1st sighting 10 11pm for 5 mins W departing SE

2nd sighting 11 48pm only 1 min W departing WSW

Should be good sighting if clear skies as will be low in the sky again in the early sighting. Quite clear here at the moment.

we saw the ISS a number of times, thanks to your information

i went on to the tracker site and zoomed in - it was fascinating watching it zoom across the landscape below

I'll try again, thank you for the info... its been so clouded the last few days in West Yorkshire I was lucky to spot four shooting stars in the shower (of them! ;-)

Arksided I did not stop up long enough to see them but I did see 2 on the Sunday about 11pm.

I must admit it was sporadic between 1-4 am Tuesday morning but waited patiently.

Shame for me its being so cloudy even Dr Brian May had trouble spotting them (see link) I have missed a few episodes of the 'Sky at night recently' shame on me. They're are doing excellently without the late Sir Patrick Moore.
