The Waterboatman may be the person to answer this one, are there any of you who have been here recently and how was it?

Or are there other hotels/inns in the area that you would recommend, from there across to W Wiltshire....budget , say up to £90 for a night... good food is a priority by the way.

Thanks

Hi DT, can't answer your question but are you on your way back now ?.

Starting out tomorrow, meeting 'Arrogate, then to friends near Guildford tomorrow night and then drop off my mates golf clubs at his office on Thursday. Don't have to be back to Friday pm, so I fancy a comfortable night by myself (and any locals) before heading S-Westwards.

Am creased here, another 18 on the goat course to follow on from the 36 yesterday, the wind relentless (25-30, gusting 35 - when you take a 4 wood from 136, cream it and hit the green on a par 3 (short side), then you know you are in a fight. Scored 98 on North Berwick West yesterday, 96 today but that's put in perspective that most of the pros were scoring 90-110 in some tournament at Roxburgh.

A hot bath is calling.......
Some very good scoring there DT, especially considering the weather.
You're not roaming the highways and byways with no accomodation are you dtc?
The Ragged Cot on Minchinhampton Common is very nice - stayed there a couple of times.
