I know Belfast reasonably well as I spend around 3-4 days a month there due to work. I would suggest (especially if you are there at a weekend) to pre-book the Titanic tickets as it tends to get quite busy.
Where are you staying?
One of the best ways to see the sites is the open top bus tour (you can buy tickets from official tour reps on the street). It will give you a good initial overview of the city.
I am told the Ulster museum is worth a look.
City Hall and the cathedral quater are always interesting for a stroll.
Shopping is good in Belfast, the Victoria shopping centre also has a reasonable choice of eating establishments.
My favourite restaurant is "Zen" (Link below)
I also had a great night in a Cabaret type club if that is your sort of thing (Link Below)
Afternoon Tea in "The Merchant Hotel" is also very nice. (They do a gluten free menu I think)
Belfast Zoo is ok but when I went he animals must have all been out for the day!
Cave Hill Country Park is lovely with fantastic views across the city.

Don't forget of course that the Giant's Causeway is not in Belfast :-)
Best, if you have time, to get there though by taking the coast road all the way.
Personally, I can't understand the attraction of the Titanic stuff, but each to his own.
If you have children the W5 is terrific.
Otherwise I also recommnend the zoo, as much for the scenery and the walks as the animals.
