sorrento/positano hotels

Does anyone have any suggestions for a small, friendly and inexpensive hotel in Sorrento or Positano? They're seem to be plenty of hotels in that area but most seem really expensive or scarily bland. I'd just like somewhere small, with a garden and swimming pool and if anyone has any suggestions i'd be very grateful!

I've been to Sorrento once (a few years ago) and we stayed at an hotel called The Ascot. We booked the holiday from a travel agents, but the Ascot was fairly cheap. It's a small family run hotel.

There's a review posted here (not by me) but I'd agree with the comments.
