On the seafront, there's a bar called the Brighton Music Hall. It's just a bar, but they have live music all day, every day. So, obviously, it's a pretty jolly fab bar.
Anyway, Disco Pete is this guy in his 70s who goes there every day, and just stands there, doing this weird dance with his hands. He doesn't get any money, but people sometimes buy him a beer.
He is, by far, our jolliest, and most famous person.

Normally, we send them to Hove, or Eastbourne.
But Disco Pete is a bit weird, so we let him stay. We like eccentrics.
Also, behind the Thistle Hotel, there's a tiny shop, about six feet wide, which sells hippy stuff like bead necklaces, and woollen bags. The old hippy guy who runs it, he's allowed to stay too.

We had a Dopey Dan the Drunkie, no-one ever gave him any money, he used to get up and sing 'My Way' his way, lasting half an hour if someone didn't get up and push him off the stage. He wasn't nearly as well dressed as Disco Pete. Just goes to show the difference between a happy Brighton seaside bar and a dreary pub in a Leeds suburb. :(
