There has been many comments of passengers and their own personal weight, do you think it's fair that a person that weighs 20 stone upwards pays the same as a person weighing from 10 stones up to the mentioned weight?

"it is Discrimition against passengers, and their weight"
Ok TWR...discrimination by whom?
The last time I was on a plane I was in the middle seat. The big fat guy in the aisle seat asked if he could put the arm rest up as he was squashed. I felt for him but said no. He should have bought two seats.
TWR, do you mean that rather than upset their sensibilities, fat people should be allowed to make their fellow travellers' journeys uncomfortable regardless?
Doc, 50kg allowance in business class. Some people weigh a lot more than that.

What I am saying, I should NOT be paying the same price for persons twice of my 12stone weight. Is that clear enough?
doctorb - do you mean the A380? Emirates don`t have Dreamliners. Incidently weight is very much an issue on Dreamlineers and A380s. Much more than older aircraft.
TWR, yes thank you. It's clear now - but it wasn't before.
you should have to pay extra to be allowed to tilt your seat backwards, too.

237 Incorrect, Weight is a vital issue regards Planes and there take off.
Should the person behind you get a discount?
Why? Because you didn't take heed of the luggage allowance and got miffed when you spotted a salad dodger in the check-in queue who didn't have to pay extra?

Average weights vary from continent to continent, as airlines are global businesses you'll be hard pressed to find a global operator following your thinking!
^^ That was to jno.
God point 237
Yes sj, the a380. Ha, I thought they were the same. :)
Agree with that too jno.
either way, naomi. My space is encroached on far more often by people lying back than by fat people.
// you should have to pay extra to be allowed to tilt your seat backwards, too. //

All the airlines are phasing those out apparently as they cause too much aggro between passengers
Jeza, So should the person behind get a discount?
jno, either way? What sort of answer is that? If people should pay more to recline their seats, surely those inconvenienced are entitled to a reduction?
So only the front seat passengers pay full price Naomi? Well, they do have extra leg room generally.
