Backpacking Cambodia To India

I was just wondering if anyone has any advice/ tips about how i would get from a to b, how much it might cost and any other useful information? Also and safety advice would be handy as i am a petite 21 year old female who will be travelling alone? :)

the problem you'll have is getting through Myanmar (Burma) since there is no bus or train options into or out of the country from any of its neighbours, and whilst there is a border crossing from Thailand now open (but not onward to india), foreigners aren't permitted to be in the border areas.
