In the good auld days we used to have wing mirrors and a rear-view mirror stuck to t'inside roof.
Nowadays, are learner drivers tested on mirrors or rear-view screens when reversing?

I think that many car seats are higher in the back now than they used to be and of course headrests are more substantial. If I am reversing into a space, its much easier to get the white lines and cars in my mirrors than it is to actually look at them, I can see both sides just with eye movement.
