Estonia's Independence Day.
23 Answers
Yesterday was Estonia's independence day, and a large military parade took place which included troops from other nations including the UK.
Why wasn't this reported by the media, or the parade televised for us to see?

Whilst walking through Tallinn with my Husband and an Estonian friend we bumped into an Estonian Government Minister who they both happened to know. The Minister took time to tell me all about the archeological dig that was going on adjacent to where we met.

I was simply making the point that our government chose to send British troops out to a country that we hear very little about so as to celebrate their independence, but we were not alone other Western powers chose to do the same, and it has also happened in the past.
Do we send troops out to other countries to celebrate their independences, I very much doubt it?
So if this was unique why wasn't any mention made over it?
Just asking isn't this what this site is all about?
