Motorhomes?

Hiya
As anyone had an RV in Canada? We would like to try one but no to sure. and are they good value for money? We have done a fly drive over there the hotels are reasonably priced but if you book into a hotel and you go out for the day you have to drive back to the hotel and cover that distance twice and we would like to see more and go further a field  any advice would be gratefully accepted
